First of all the food is ok and sizes are enormous. The waiters and waitresses where nice but the manager and chef where very rude to the employees. I thought it was because they where all family but NO they are paid employees. Very rude chef I could hear him going off in the background and barking. Poor staff was terrified. Will never give them my business. You got 1.5 stars bc the fries where good. Other than that learn to treat your staff with respect and dignity

I had lunch and I’m so glad I came in! I’m pretty sure that they make their own French fries fresh cut from whole potatoes. Delish! My sandwich was also really good! I believe the pimento cheese on it was also house made, a bit spicy just how I like it!

Can you say, AWESOME. Yes you can.. On a whim, decided to eat out this past Friday night. Didn’t want the 1/2 hour drive home from Raleigh, too late to make reservations for anything before 6PM. What to do?? Went to Rosati’s, but to our amazement it’s closed/gone. So, after driving to our stand-by Shuckers and confounded w/ a 45 min – 1 hour wait. UGH!! Let’s try LELI’s DINER. Boy, what a gem in our own backyard. No wait, immediate seating into a cusioned booth, wine & beer menu. WAIT!!, I shouldn’t be writing this, it’s like letting a secret out! And it’s gonna get crowds galore. There goes our wait times for a great meal (again). Looking past the decor, it is an upstart afterall & so this is forgivable, the food was wonderfully seasoned, cooked, presented & eaten HA! Ordered two of the specials since we can always go back for the regular items on the menu as the waiter reminded us. Will go back multiple times, Joe & Sarka make you feel at home. TY, TY TY for your work ethic and care for the food presented. Did I mention the baked goods & deserts on display? I say display because neither my husband nor I had room but they looked & smelled great !!

Gluten Free disaster. I came here for breakfast. My meal came with toast, but I told them to hold off on it as I am gluten free (due to celiac disease). The waiter told me they had gluten free bread. I excitedly accepted. [Long gross story that I will spare you the details with occurred]— that bread was definitely not gluten free based on my terrible reaction to it. This was a very serious mistake that the management needs to be aware of.

Problem with the waitress. The food looks good. the waitress was rude. the young white female with black hair ponytail. I needed a separate plate for the fires all over my hamburger. she not want to give it to me. and when she gave it to me. she was slow to give it to me. the french fries all over the top of the hamburger. the food is good. the service needs improvement. it is a nice clean place to eat. it has a nice interior.and clean restaurant.
