Me and my family went here for lunch today before my daughter’s soccer game. It was a party of seven, four of us got burgers because we only had a little over an hour to eat so we figured it wouldn’t take long (the other three were kids meals, they were good). Don’t know why the server even asked us for the temperature – I ordered rare, everyone else ordered medium. After waiting for what seemed to be a very long time, can’t imagine if they were busy, we were one of the first and only tables in the restaurant, the food arrived. The burgers were all very WELL DONE and super dry (as a bonus – my homemade chips were very well done too). We told the server and I showed her my burger, she apologized and said that it’s because the grill can get very hot in morning.. So, I guess the grill was partly responsible. We did not have time to wait for another round of burgers since the first round took so long. The manager came by about 10 minutes later and apologized. She started her apology by saying that she’s sorry that the burgers did not meet our expectations. Umm.. we made sure to let her know that we are not picky people and getting the temperature off on all the burgers by multiple degrees (i.e., ordered rare – cooked very well done).. is not an expectation thing, it’s the cooking basics. She offered a gift card for our next visit, I said sure – that would be nice. She drops off the check and gift card, then walks away. I look inside the booklet and it’s a $15 gift card… The burgers we ordered ranged from $12 to $13, they’re not that cheap in my opinion. After tip, my check was about $92 – 4 burgers and 3 kids meals (server did good overall so that includes 20% for her). My inlaws got nothing for their bad experience. With that being said, a $15 gift card was just not an adequate response for the experience and the number of people at the table. I’m seriously considering never going back to even use the gift card and just giving it away to someone on the street that needs a hot meal. Needless to say, we were not impressed with Real McCoy’s and disappointed with the entire experience – including the manager’s response and action.

Great service and beer selection is excellent. It’s a good place for families or to catch up with your friends to watch a game.
