The food here is hit or miss. It was such a miss last time we went, my husband and I decided not to return. In addition, the restaurant is so small that it felt like the waiters were constantly squeezing to get by our table. Because it’s small, the nose level is also obnoxious. You can hardly have a conversion with the person at your table because it’s so loud.
Risotto balls were great. My 5 year old gobbled up 1 1/2 of them. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I had the chicken mozzarella sandwich. The bread was stale but the rest of it was great. Arugula salad was great too. Garlic knots were served as a side which were also stale. Great wine and cocktail menu. My son loved he gigantic bowl of pasta. Gravy was great. Service was slow and disinterested. Took forever to clear out appetizer plates. We had to lift them out of the way when lunch was served. We will be back. I will skip the bread next time.
Super fresh, really enjoyed it. Fresh mozzarella, produce locally grown, local beers, perfect pasta of any sort and great service. The wife and I had a very good lunch and both of us highly recommend. Was a little dissatisfied with portion size, maybe I eat too much? Very hip crowd, located near everything cool in downtown Raleigh.
Farm to table! So much on the menu is local. We loved it. Fabulous service and delicious food. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
Simple Fresh Italian. Always fresh – table to farm. Menu changes often with the season so always lots of new things to try. Risotto Balls app is a must as are the Lemoncello Martinis. Nice atmosphere, good wait staff. One of our favs.
About as good as it gets for the price of their plates. Solid. And i never eat out italian…cause i am italian. Put it on your list for downtown raleigh
