Humble pie popped up a few times in random searches so my husband and I decided to try it, especially since tapas style food is right up our ally. We ordered the gnocchi, fresh catch, and scallops. Wow was it ALL delicious. The gnocchi was soft fluffiness that melted on our mouths and we both could have eaten a large plate of that. Fish and scallops were tender and cooked perfectly with sauces we could have licked off the plate! Highly recommend some Humble Pie! Prices are pretty legit considering the quality of food and service.

Amazing food, especially the tofu plate. Staff was great and the flourless chocolate cake was to DIE for.

Great Sunday brunch. Friendly staff. Cool out if the way vibe.

Great party!. Had a post-concert cast party last Sunday at Humble Pie and was most impressed by the delicious, ample food and excellent service. It was the perfect venue — downtown Raleigh, very cool and beautifully redone historic building, great atmosphere, and a variety of gathering places throughout. And right down the street from the performing arts and civic center complex.

Delicious food, but a bit over priced. We had dinner and dessert and it came to $50 (plus tip). Also, pay attention to your coffee. My partner and I ordered coffee (which comes in a french press), the first one was broken, so we couldn’t pour it without spilling everywhere. The second one was filled with coffee grounds. And the third one was also filled with coffee grounds. My partner and I eventually were tired of having staff fix it, so we did it ourselves.

Eclectic Small Plates in an Urban Oasis…. Humble Pie is a long-standing Raleigh classic that was cool before all the action started happening downtown. Beautiful wood patio, checkerboard tiles, hanging paper lamps and more decorate the mod space at Humble Pie. And their menu is solid allowing you to pick and choose through some interesting items like andouille sausage withcorn pudding and a tangy spinach tart. Humble Pie also does a nice job with brunch, again perfect if you’re sitting outside. Overall I like the spot but wish they’d be a bit more inventive with the menu. But solid eats at a stylish spot. nctriangledining.com
