Great restaurant!. We ate at Oro with another couple. Decor is modern, kind of sterile. Not very warm, but clean. We liked everything with rare exceptions. Had fish tacos, jerk chicken flatbread, shrimp and grits, braised beef short ribs, truffle mac and cheese (eh- ok- bland and boring). We probably had a few other things as well. Service was attentive and pleasant. Not cheap, but very good. Will definitely go back<

Awesome Calamari. Sea Bass was very good also. Great atmosphere.

There isn’t anything special about this restaurant. Food is is below average and it has very little flavor. Service and atmosphere were nice. Overpriced tapas for the quality. Will not return.

Delicious!! Truffle Mac n cheese, beet salad and two courses of banana bread pudding and heading back again tomorrow night! So so much flavor!!

Nice addition. Oro is a interesting hybrid: tapas style small plates, but the cuisine is basically modern American. Two of us had 6 plates between us, using the standard appetizer/main/dessert pattern. The fish tacos were superb, the shrimp dumplings reasonably good. Both the filet and the lamb chops were excellent. And the warm chocolate cake is memorably good. The apple tart fine. Service was excellent – friendly and precise, and the wine list is good. We can easily recommend Oro as one of the better downtown Raleigh options.
