More vegan items please!. I recently visited The Morning Times after a one year absence. I was hoping to snag a $5 pre-made vegan sandwich, but found that section has been replaced by a smaller offering of pastries.I appreciated there was one vegan option- I ordered it even though I don’t like reubens at all. Well, it turns out I still don’t like reubens, so I probably will not be back for any food unless they can expand their vegan menu items….I did appreciate the 100% compostable takeout container, however!

Coffee is great but that’s about it.Baristas are rude and pretentious. Every time I’ve ordered food they’ve either left off an ingredient, messed up my order, or the food just doesn’t taste quite right. Even the baked goods I’ve tried taste a little off. Like I said great coffee, but for good food and service go next door to Raleigh Times.
Great coffee, great place, OK staff. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the surroundings of the place. The coffee was good as well. However, I was not very pleased with the staff and their attention to the customer. Besides taking my order, I’m not ever sure if they new I was there. (I know that sounds a little strange… I guess you had to be there.) If the staff was more friendly it would be an A+ place in my opinion. Also take into account that I did not encounter all the staff. Only the two on the Friday evening I was there. I would still recommend it and also return a second time myself.
Make a good chai but the staff are pretentious. Its raleigh not seattle or portland….leta be honest. Warning know what u want before you what u want before u walk in or the little girl running the register will be pissed you interuppted her conversation about wedding dresses
The triangle is getting alot of recognition for its beaneries & baristas – they’re winning pretty prestigious regional awards. You go, NC! Morning Times has delivered this exceptional reputation in each crafty lil’ cup of jolt I’ve tried. I’ve had the opportunity to taste Morning Times Sugar-free Vanilla, French Toast, & Vanilla Bourbon lattes and each was prepared with a level of detail as if it was the only cup the man had to create that day-Foam Art & Tasty (win, win.)The location also provides indoor & outdoor seating and is an art space – which I haven’t ventured upstairs to see when in drivable distance-I make a point to stop in and try a new caffeinated concoction. I like you, Morning Times.
Great cappuccino. And scones. Not too sweet like most are.Breakfast empanada is a good deal too.Other local baked good are very good.
