Eggplant Parmigiana was good. Tiramisu was better…interesting place; paper napkins, good wine selection, cheap silverware, weak beer selection (but did have Peroni)…overall, good find in the middle of nowhere 🙂
Uncle Henry. I have an Italian friend who is an excellent cook. Years ago he told me that the way to determine if an Italian restaurant was any good was to order their pasta with Mariana sauce. We first visited the Marabella about 8 years ago. Following the advice of my friend, I ordered their Spaghetti Mariana. It was (and is) so unusually good that I order it every time we go back. The others smack their lips over the other dishes, but I see no need the mess with perfection.
Andy. The very best restaurant in the Washington and Greenville areas. The food reminds me of the great pizza and pasta you get in New York city. The portions are hugh ,they give you so much you have another meal the next day and the price are reasonable.
BEST RESTAURANT in Washington, NC. Great food, authentic owners and staff who treat us local folks like we are one of the family and as if we were living we were expecting the great traditional food that folks in New York would expect. When you eat the delicious sauces, you will think that you are in the Big Apple [or better yet—in Italy] INDEED!!!!!!!
Fabulous food. Best in town…by a LOT. Great petitions. Friendly, personal service. Owner/chef really from Sicily and the food shows it. Not just a pizza joint, which I hear is what the Greenville location is. Wide selection of entrees, though they do have pizza and sandwiches too. Highly, highly recommend.
Fantastic food. This restaurant is the best. The food was excellent and the prices are reasonable. Great place to go for lunch or dinner. House wines are exceptional, literally ate there two days in a row.
Great service and food!. We had a very large group of students eat at Marabella Pizza and Grill. They did a fantastic job accommodating such a large group on a Friday night. The food was an oasis in the Washington area. My pasta sauce was homemade and the noodles were cooked al dente. I will definitely eat there again!
