Good food, bad service. We went at 5:00 PM Saturday with a group and felt that the food was good. Pizza had great topings but was soggy in the middle. Salads were great but the pasta dishes needed a little something else.By the time we left they were slammed and had people out the door waiting to get in. Some people in our group did not get their food for over an hour. It appeared that they had way too many employees as there was a whole bunch just standing around. Our waitress had three tables and got our stuff out quick. The other waitress, who also had three tables, not so quick.Don’t see the need in an employee whose only job appears to be bringing out the food. That is what a waitress is for. The kitchen had so many people in it they were knocking into each other and spill plates. Also didn’t seem to have a decent expediter in there helping get stuff out. Was real confused with take out orders.Do not go when it is busy.
We really enjoyed our entrees (Grandma’s pizza and mushroom ravioli). Would suggest giving caprese appetizer a miss, unless their tomatoes are a lot better earlier in the summer. I did enjoy the red peppers and olives with it, but missed the basil which had been substituted with arugula. I also didn’t enjoy the bitterness of the romaine in the side salad. Service was a bit slow, especially given how few people were present.
