Nice Little Place. Surprisingly good menu and food for such a small town. Great burger, and they’ll cook it any way you want it. Great grilled salmon, salads always fresh. Reasonable prices.
Best place anywhere!. I have never loved a restaurant like I love Maxwell’s – you just cannot beat it! From the time you walk in the door to the time you walk out, everything is perfect…the people, the food, the atmosphere. We celebrate birthdays there and a couple of years ago, my husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary there! We have not had one thing on the menu that wasn’t good. The drinks are amazing – they always have my favorite pomegranate martini even if it isn’t on the menu!!! It never bothers us if they say it is going to be a 35+ minute wait – the best things in life are worth waiting for!

Best place to eat in Waxhaw. I had the #7 burger, which was cooked to perfection. Our wait was supposed to be 35 minutes, but we waited over an hour. The manager comped my beer, which was great. Well worth the wait for the food. We always will come back when we’re in town. I’d recommend the Old Mecklenburg brewery Copper. Great beer for a burger pairing.
Good burgers and decent wings too which is high praise from a displaced Yankee. Only gripe is the wings are a bit pricy but that seems to be fairly common these days.When did wings get so expensive??
Came here for lunch right when they opened and they filled up within minutes! Great burgers and friendly staff. I don’t usually like steak fries but theirs were really good. Will definitely be back for beer
