Great food, cool atmosphere.. Went to Clydes the third time in one year. Excellent ribeye with a nice flavor. my daughter had the fried chicken and her friend had the boneless chicken wings and they were all excellent strawberry cobbler also was very good. salad was good and we had the same waitress as I had a year ago. That shows a professional wait staff and you don’t get that too often. Wood go again for sure. Wife the boneless chicken wings the next day and she said were excellent.24 Feb, 2015Ribeye Steak. Mtn. native. Went there after church yesterday. Had been highly recommended. Expected slow service but it was not. Service was great, food was fantastic. If you like country cooking this is the place. Fast, friendly, and fantastic food. Got main course, three sides, drink and desert for no more than a burger and fries would cost other places. Don’t pass it up when you are in Waynesville. Well worth the drive.

Duvalls is much better and the staff seems to care more about keeping your business.28 Jan, 2013I much rather go to duvalls and the staff is much friendlier. My wife and I went there one day and the waitress literally told her to move. No excuse me or anything. And worst of all she was holding our 10 month old son. The owners don’t seem to care. I mean what is one pissed off customer when they have such good business. Anyways the food is fair and the staff is sometimes nice but after that it was enough. I noticed another local business owner who had her entire family there leave upset because of the service.
Driving through town. If you enjoy good ol fashioned country cooking – this is the place to visit when in the area. We had a great experience and we hope to return one day – living in Raleigh, it’s quite the drive.Everyone has their own taste for food and restaurants can’t satisfy every palate, so if you are pretentious and prefer a well know gourmets food or your mamas, then this place is not for you – it’s not a fancy restaurant, but the food was fresh and people are awesome. We enjoyed our experience at Clyde’s.
