Terrible food ordered vegetable noodle entree only to have the noodles come out of the kitchen 15 minutes after the vegetables. All of above were served at room temperature, and in a pool of liquid. If you’re looking for good Japanese food in wilkesboro, look elsewhere.
I tried Koto’s after another traveler came into the hotel I was checking into & was raving about it. I guess he didn’t have a good place at home to compare it to. I had the beef & chicken teriyaki combo dinner and both meats were on the tough side and flavor was just ok. The dinner did come with a soup & salad and was a good quantity to price value ratio. I was seated immediately but had to wait quite a while for the server to take my order. She also served me sweet tea when I asked for unsweetened. The kitchen brought my meal out and I didn’t see my server till I was almost done. The sad part was it was 8pm-ish & the place was almost empty.
No one compares!. I’ve been in Greensboro for over 5 years and still can’t find an express Japanese restaurant that serves this quality of food. Sweet carrots, properly fried rice (not soggy), and the best shrimp sauce. Always plenty of food at a resonable price.
