We ate at Tipton’s tonight. I had the combo platter with pulled pork, sausage, ribs, and brisket. The brisket was by far the best. The ribs had good flavor but were very tough. The pulled pork was very bland with minimal smoke. Unfortunately the sausage was almost inedible. It was extremely over cooked and dry. On the plus side the baked beans were very good. My son had wings with hot honey which were also very good. The sauce was a nice mix of heat and sweet. Also really enjoyed cheese fries with bacon. The service was excellent. The restaurant itself was a little more run down than I remember from several years ago but really not a problem for us.

This time it was tough, the fries were over cooked and the size was much smaller. The waitress was ok not bad. They weren’t very busy or understaffed.
