Great restaurant in a town with lots of great restaurants. The Fois gras was superb. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly, my wife had the pork loin and it too was perfection on a plate. Service was outstanding and we were greeted promptly in our arrival with a smile and a warm welcome. We will keep going back, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy fine dining.
Always fabulous – no lie. Wonderful service, great wine selection and a wonderful, creative menu. The food is spectacular- a talented chef and owners who truly care about a customer’s experience make this a 5 star winner. A Wilmington favorite.
Great Sample. We were fortunate enough to visit Aubriana’s on Liz’s food tour. We had seared rainbow trout in a citrus jalapeno sauce with a tomato, red onion and avocado salsa. It was absolutely delicious! The menu looked fantastic and it was great to meet the chef. The building itself has quite a bit of history and offers great ambiance. Would really like to come back for the full experience!
Just perfect. We ordered the lamb lollipops, the crab and spinach gnocchi a la vodka and a wonderful tiramisu. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, the atmosphere relaxed and intimate. An overall wonderful experience.
I’ve been twice. We ate the same thing both times (lamb lollipops and filet) and they got it right the first time. The second time the lamb was over peppered and they put bleu cheese instead of goat cheese on the filet, so it tasted and smelled like feet. I will go back, but I will make sure to specify certain aspects of the menu items
Terrible food and terrible service. I took my sweetie out for a special anniversary dinner and after hearing great things about Aubriana’s I booked a reservation. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty they gave us a terrible table. We waited forever for service which just got worse over the course of the evening. The food was awful and over priced. At the end of the night we asked to speak to the manager, and the server said HE WAS the manager! I couldn’t believe it! I will never return to this restaurant.
LOVED IT!. As a UNCW Alumni we have been to most area restaurants and upon returning for our wedding anniversary almost 10 years later we wanted to try something new! We were extremely glad we did because the food, service, and ambiance made our anniversary dinner one to remember! We were seated in the front window, which was perfect and cozy. We enjoyed the romantic feel from the dim room lit mostly by candlelight. The place itself if mostly exposed brick, deep burgandy walls that flicker with candlelight. They had a top notch wine and cocktail selection. At most restaurants in this price range I normally choose the one and only entree that appeals to me, however I was delighted to have been torn between 2 or 3 here! We started with the Lamb chop Loli-pops that were so tender and perfectly paired with a sweet/spicy dipping syrup. Followed with Filet, perfectly cooked med rare and my husband indulged in the crab/lobster crab cakes. We were both 100% satisfied with our choices and the serving size was quite generous. We will be sure to return on our next visit to Wilmington and we would highly recommend!
