Very friendly staff, the decor is a bit antiquated but the dining room is clean. The server was very quick and attentive. The raw ingredients were replenished quickly. I didn’t see sauce menu recommendations as I have in other Mongolian BBQ places, the labels for the sauces need updating. The cook was courteous and thorough, he kept his station clean.None of this really matters if the BBQ isn’t tasty, and I’m happy to report it met my taste test just fine. Overall a decent place to enjoy one of my favorite meals. Give Bdobo a try!

Fun, fast, and good. Choose your own combination of fresh meats and vegetables for your favorite Asian stir fry and watch the chefs prepare your dish over a very hot fire pot grill. Entrees are served with your choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup and either steamed or fried rice. A very nice Wilmington find.

Can’t go wrong….. This is an all-you-can-eat, do it yourself asian grill. Don’t be intimidated by the myriad ingredients, the staff is very eager to please and friendly, and will help you choose if you need help. You will get the hang of it after the first trip up, I promise. Choose your meats, veggies and sauces, and hand it to the nice man at the grill who stirfries it in a flash. If you don’t like it, don’t eat it, try again! Here’s a tip if you don’t like spicy, or are eating vegetarian/vegan —let the cook know and he will quickly clean the round stone top before cooking your plate, even if they are busy. I have worked here, the prep kitchen is very clean, and staff is quick to clear tables and keep the buffet clean of debris. Good for anyone hungry and on a budget, as lunch is only $7.49 and dinner is $9.49. Consistently great, and potentially good for you (just skip the noodles and go easy on the rice) We never leave hungry!

It’s fun watching them cook your food in front of you! TIP: Skip the rice and noodles and fill your bowl with the meat and veggies, you’ll get way more for your money.

Amazing every time. I eat here once a week. It’s that good. Extensive selection of foods. It works like a raw buffet, you grab a bowl and load it up with tons of food. They have items like pasta, tons of veggies, fruits, and then meats, white and dark meat chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, crab and calamari (all uncooked). Then the sauces. This is where the magic happens, they say to combine 6 or more of the sauces, there are 9 all together. This is key, I think most people go wrong by adding only one or two, I add every single one, and some double. Sauces like ginger, lemon, soy, Mongolian, curry, wine, sesame oil and hot oil, garlic and more can be found, and it really makes the final dish a treat. The chef then cooks your meal on a huge round flat top grill with giant sticks (pretty cool) and it’s done in less than a minute. Back to the table, and you’ll find white or fried rice, and hot and sour or egg drop soup waiting for you (both are included with the meal) along with delicious sesame bread. Dip the bread in your soup: super good. They also have a small selection of wines and beers. New to the restaurant is a Hot Pot, I’ve yet to try it because the raw bar is so good.Bdobo is a Wilmington treasure.
