Excellent!. My wife and i had dinner there last night for the first time. it was WONDERFUL! We can’t believe that we waited so long to try this place. Should have done so years ago. I had the Pineapple Curry and my wife had the Pad Thai. Both were superb. The soup appetizers were great as well. Prices are extremely reasonable particularly compared to some other places in bigger cities and even here in Wilmington.
In the name of all that is holy save room for their coconut cake!
Prices have Sky-rocketed. Just left Big Thai 2, the meals that used to cost $18 are now $25.00 and price is not on the menu. Ask before you order if you are offered the specials.Good food if you want to pay these prices.
The ONLY Thai worth trying…. Fresh seafood, awesome Thai staples and ample portions – their Crispy Duck is simply amazing. Hand’s down the best green curry dishes in town. Keep an eye on the Specials Board out front…only complaint is they serve only beer, wine and sake.
Mild is Medium. I love this place and I love spicy food, but my parents are are in their late 70s & 80s. Even asking them to make it very mild is a bit spicier than than like. Guess will have to come with someone else. All their curries are fantastic. They have great specials too.
Big does it again!. Same recipes I came to love from Rim Wang’s downtown. Big and Narisara do it again with a spectacular selection of homecooked Thai specialties.
DELICIOUS!!. I tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The first time I had the Masaman Curry w/ Beef….amazing. The portions were a little small, but it was as good if not better than Indochine…which I like but it has needed competition for a long while. My friend had the whole Pompano Fish. He travels to Paris a lot and use to be a food critic. He said it may have been the best piece of fish he had EVER put in his mouth. We went back within the week….we all had the Pompano….it was divine. Sooo glad we finally have Thai near the beach!
