Being new to the Wilmington area , I’m still exploring all the area. I’ve driven by the Carolina Ale House a number of times over the last month , so yesterday I decided to stop in. I was looking for a spot to catch MSU Spartans vs Notre Dame. Great sports bar atmosphere. It wasn’t over crowed which was fine for me. I sat at the bar and had some great conversation. I ordered the Shrimp Platter which was very good hot and fresh. It came out quickly to the table. They have a number of big games on for the evening and there really isn’t a bad TV view in the house. Bartenders were great . Beer was cold and they have a good selection of beers. I don’t think you can ask for much more on a college football Saturday. It’s worth checking out.
