Fish and Chip Nuggets. The view and the service was wonderful. Most of my party enjoyed their meal. I ordered fish and chips which I have not had for a while and had many times in England. Every time I have had fish and chips it was an entire fillet which was breaded and fried so even though it is fried food being an entire fillet makes is a tad bit less oil and breading compared to the amount of fish. These were fish nuggets, the tailings and leftover bits and pieces so it was more like fried dough than fried fish. One other curiosity was that some in my party wanted the steamed seafood called The Carolina Basket which was not on the dinner menu. Upon questioning the server we were told that speciality was only on the bar menu which we asked for. I do not understand why some of the dishes the restaurant was well know for were not on the regular menu and only on the bar menu which was only produced after asking why those dishes had been discontinued. The Carolina Basket is the most expensive entree but not on the main menu. I don’t understand.

I’ve eaten here twice and the food is wonderful. My husband had the Carolina Bucket, I had the Black and Blue Salad and it was wonderful. Good prices for great, LOCAL seafood. Reasonably priced wine. Very good service. Comfortable atmosphere, both more formal and more casual bar.

Poor.. Cute place. Nice view. Waitress was nice but the rest of the staff was really snarky. They bring out really great bread in the beginning. I had the grilled tuna steak sandwich. It was a bit odd, overall I would have been happier with just the roll and french fries. The tuna was overdone and the tea tasted like an ashtray. If the prices were cheaper the food would have been good, but for the prices everything but the french fries were sub par at best.

The view is the only thing remotely pleasant about this place. The food is dismal at best and over priced. Go next door for the same view better service and the food is much…..much better

In town for only a few hours and this place was recommended by a local couple. Had a wonderful meal with great service and food that was very well cooked and presented. Great value and would highly recommend.

Beautiful View!!! Great Waitstaff. Fantastic atmosphere!!! Great View, so relaxing…The service was excellent, fast, friendly. The Enjoyed the seafood you could tell it was fresh. Many options on the menu. They even had two one for outside and one for inside.

A little perturbed.. My mother and father in law had our rehearsal dinner here last week. We are all from out of town minus my sister. My mother in law was promised and PAID for the private room. We had close to 20 people in our party. When we got there we were all crammed into a tiny corner of the restaurant. When she asked why we didn’t have the private room, it turns out the restaurant had double booked the room and gave it to the bigger party. Honest mistake, however no type of compensation was offered. All that was offered was a bigger table outside. We were ready to go somewhere else but no where would take a big party like that on such short notice. Food was good and service was great but this experience was upsetting and I will not be returning to Elijah’s.
