Great service from Kristen L. And wonderful food and beer. Love coming every time we are in Wilmington. Never a disappointment and always great service!
I used to love this bar/restaurant. Service has never been super however, the food and beer always made up for it. The last year (since 2014) the food quality has declined, service and wait time deplorable, but the beer is still good. They have chosen to cut food costs /quality to maintain their budget friendly advertising scheme. Drink the beer after yiu eat dinner elsewhere.
Got the Blackened Salmon BLT last night. It came and the center was ice cold and raw! The waitress took it back to the kitchen where they grilled the salmon some more. They should have made a whole new dish. They also didn’t offer to comp anything from my bill. Needless to say I won’t eat their again. However the wait staff were very nice, but in the end it’s about the food.
Very good. Service was spot-on from the bartender for pre-dinner drinks to our waitress. Burger was huge and tasty and their brewed beer was really good with a nice selection.
Best food for the money.. I was in Wilmington for 11 great days this month. I ate at the Front St. Brewery 3 times while we were there. The food is simply outrageous and the prices are low. They have half price apps. from 4 till 6 and after 10 pm. The fried green tomatoes were the best. The shrimp and grits were the best I we have ever had. The Elvis Pigsley was a taste like no other. Every time we visit Wilmington. We head for the Brewery.Tom Boyes and Jack Manchester.
Watch the beer being brewed!. This is Wilmington’s oldest microbrewery, and still one of the best. Their beer is uniformly good. Great location smack in the middle of downtown. You can see the vats where the beer is being brewed. The interior is cozy; lots of wood. Great bar food, too.
I had the country fried steak and if was the worst I have ever had.. Burnt over seasoned super salty. And my potatoe mash was disgusting! Like WTH who f@$ks up something so simple ?.. Really disappointed really was a waste of money :/ good thing chops was open cause I was starving after that horrible meal
