WOW, just liike LA or Narita. Moved here from Los Angeles and this is the ONLY sushi restaurant that is as good as LA or Narita/Tokyo. Great service by Lisa or James, BUT Friday or Saturday evenings be prepared to wait 45 minutes for your sushi. However, it is worth the wait.Tried all other sushi restaitrants in Wilmington and keep on coming back to Genki!

A REAL Japanese Restaurant. This was a pleasant surprise! I am a frequent visitor to Japan and this place is the real deal. This establishment is Japanese owned and operated which means that pride and love goes into each dish. If you are anywhere in the Wilmington area and you love Japanese food check this place out without hesitation.P.S. The Hokkaido style miso soup was the best I’ve ever had anywhere, including Japan!
Japanese owned and operated. Great, no frills, restaurant with good food. We had goyza, sushi, and lychee sorbet…which was excellent!
