We moved to Wilmington a week ago and have been here twice…. Both times we got the soup of the day and both times delicious. I am addicted to the grilled chicken and Brie sandwich….. Accidentally stumbled onto $3 pint night on Tuesday which includes all of the craft beers (under 7% alcohol, lol) …. Going to make a point of coming on Tuesdays!! Will be back soon!!

Incompetent staff/unbelievable wait time. Depending on the day, the staff is at times incompetent. We arrived on the weekend of UNCW’s graduation, when you would think they’d be prepared to handle large crowds. Our group of 4 was told that it would take 20-30 minutes to get a table. We ended up leaving after waiting more than 50 minutes and hearing poor excuses from multiple employees. We waited at the bar at that time and got drinks. From our spot at the bar, I saw at least 5, 4-person tables that were empty and cleaned off THE ENTIRE TIME WE SAT THERE (there were probably more open tables, but from our spot alone, I could see 5 open tables). I asked the girl at the front and she suggested the kitchen was behind. Later, I asked the manager why we were still waiting (45 minutes at that point) while those tables remained empty, she gave me a few generic responses: 1. They’re being reserved (at what point is it okay to drop someone’s reservation when you’ve had people waiting more than twice the time they were told they’d wait). 2. There’s a tropical storm so people are changing their reservations from places along the coast (WHATTT?!? That’s one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. Conditions across the area are the same (I know because we ended up going to eat at the beach)). I also suggested that the other girl had told us it was because the kitchen was backed up, so she decided to tack on that excuse as well. By the time we would have been seated, the drink specials would have expired (3pm). We left and I won’t be coming back.

Bad food and bad service. Had a family birthday group of 10 recently. It was awful. Food – not good at all. Waitress had no clue about beers available. She had no personality at all – NONE. Very disappointed. Will not go back.

Great Burgers, Great Beer Selection, and the roasted pork nachos are really great as well!

Great service, just too much salt in the food. The atmosphere is great, the server was over the top good, but the food was just not that good. The meat portion on the prime rib sandwich was skimpy, and the horseradish sauce may have been out dated, it tasted kind of weird. The catsup tasted like they emptied a salt shaker in it, and the food was just really salty. I loved the experience, but was not thrilled with the food, that is why we were there, though, so I have to not like.

A surprise!. Despite low expectations due to the exterior looking somewhat like a Denny’s style restaurant, the entree and beer choices were fantastic and had very nice staff! Will happily make this a regular choice!

Amazing!. This is my family’s favorite spot to eat in town! We have been 10+ times for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Anniversary, etc. We LOVE it! The service is friendly and not overly attentive, but there when you need a drink refill. The Bloody Mary’s are amazing! The cucumber one is my favorite! The burgers are delicious. Make sure you have a napkin and your fork ready, you will need it! The entrees are also good. The salmon and potato dish was particularly memorable, and the fish is always cooked to perfection. We have no complaints other than the burgers are so messy!
