More OK Pizza for Wilmington. First off, my 12 yr. old son loves the pizza from here. We’re all pretty critical of pizza in this family, but each in our own way. Incredible scores points for offering bacon. My kid loves bacon pizza and my wife and I too on occasion. Moving to Wilmington has made the search for good pizza a rather arduous task. The few places we’ve managed to like often don’t offer bacon as a topping! What’s up with that? They will have Canadian bacon, but no regular straight-up bacon? I mean c’mon already! So as for my review of Incredible Pizza – it’s acceptable, scores points for having an edible crust. Most of the crust around this area is pretty much chewing gum or burnt rocks. The taste is OK, nothing special, but not bad either. When I need a decent pie near Monkey Junction and the kid has to have bacon, this is where we end up.
Best in Mid-town. Make sure to hit up their location off of New Center (in front of Target). It’s not listed here but is the most consistently good location in my opinion. As another has mentioned, it is not authentic NY pizza, but is creative with their bases and toppings, and the crust has a nice thin snap to it. Huge slices and great lunchtime deals, good quality cheese and freshly made ingredients make the difference!
Best in Town. Just the amount of toppings is insane. Everything’s great, the oil/pesto based pizza’s can be a little greasy, but nothing beats that Pesky Chicken (basil pesto base, grilled chicken, bacon, red onion, and feta cheese).Everything’s made fresh, nothing from there is frozen, salads rock (they definitely have the best ranch in town), and after all that, it still ends up being cheaper than Domino’s/Papa Johns.
Pretty good!. I recommend the Buffalo Chicken Pizza!
It’s not NY style pizza. They do however do a pretty good job. I guess if you are looking for something a little different it could be a good choice.
