Been to this fantastic restaurant on many occasions, and they have never let me down. I tend to stick to the Thai selections from the menu. Their Tom Kha is the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. Ever. The restaurant itself is dark and kind of funky, but I think that boils down to a matter of personal taste. I like it. I get it. Hope you do tooThe gardens and outdoor seating are unique to North Carolina, I believe, and are best enjoyed in October and November, I think. This restaurant is on this foody’s Top 5 List, and I’ve been the thousands of places across the country and several dozen abroad. EAT HERE!
Dining at Indochine has always been a delightful experience whether It was having lunch with a few friends or hosting an office party for 50. The artwork and ambiance are captivating and the food is delicious. Over the years, I have sampled every appetizer and more than 10 entres. The spices are perfectly blended and never overpowering. I recommend the Roasted Duck with Red Curry, Pad Ki Mao and Buddah’s Feast in a Nest.
Always busy place expect a wait. The food is only ok which speaks to the overall low bar in Wilmington for food. Huge serving sizes so order with care.
Simply amazing! We started with the sampler appetizer and it was great. This is probably the best Pad Thai I’ve ever eaten. My husband got the Asian Medley and our daughter got the Yum-Yum Chicken…all were fresh, hot and DELICIOUS! The decor is unique and very laid back and cool. Staff was efficient and friendly. Kind of pricey, but SO worth it. We will absolutely be back!!
Extremely Disgusted!. I tried indochine today for the first time, and most definitely the last time. I’m sorry to say, but the meal I had (thai bento box) tasted like a tv dinner meal but much much much worse. I never had such poor quality food. I feel bad to say that about food, but this was a gigantic disappointment. Can this really be classified as food? Tasted more like chewing cardboard and rubber only worse. Honestly, I think people who like this food have no sense of taste.
Great take out. The wait is usually so long we get it to go. The order is always correct and the staff is super sharp.
