DELICIOUS!! The Kalbi ribs are AMAZING!! We actually ended up ordering a second order of them!!! Kind of difficult to find but definitely worth looking for!!
It’s surprisingly difficult to find authentic Korean food in this area, that being said, Kabuki is a delcious mom & pop business.Although the sushi we had was not very good (5 out of 10), I am willing to let that slide since sushi is tradtionally Japanese so it’s understandable why thier sushi would not be as good as, say, Genki Sushi- it’s just good business to adapt your menu to customers’ preferences. However, the rest of the meal was wonderful! All of the sides were homemade;thier kimichi was not the store bought, excessively salty stuff I hate with a passion; the pickled spicy cucumbers came from thier own garden, and the pickled radish was wonderful in both forms!Their stone bowls were a large portion and well-seasoned, we asked for spicy and, oh boy, did we get it 🙂 My only complaint was there could have been more meat in my bulgogi bowl, but I suppose the egg balanced out the protein content. Give this place a try at least once, I liked it enough that I plan to take my parents there as my father served in Korea and craves good Korean food himself!
Had a rice bowl with an egg on top. I got beef so it included about a teaspoonful of (I think) beef bits. A tasteless but authentic refugee experience. I have no idea why other reviews were good. A package of flavored rice from the store would have been 10 times better.
My my my. Finally good Korean in ILM. Did I say good? I mean fantastic. Took a party of 7 and everyone had a great time. The bibimbop is as good as it gets and the kimchi is made in house. Totally stellar!!! Will be a regular from now on. The sushi was nothing to shake a stick at either, great presentation and taste. A little off the beaten path but worth the stop. A must eat at place!!!
