We enjoyed a delicious lunch of shrimp and grits and catfish with collards/grits! The ambience of the old home with wood floors and the view of the Cape Fear river was perfect! The waiter was very pleasant and efficient! It was a great experience! Look forward to a repeat when we come to Wilmington again!
Pilot house Wilmington , NC. Went to the Pilot House today. Walked in and said we had four for lunch and was asked if we had a reservation. No greeting , was seated as only a handful of customers were there. Ordered Caorlina Burger with fries. Bread arrived and all corn muffins were severely burnt. Burgers arrived with chips…asked waitress about fries and she said they came with chips.on the way out I looked at the menu and , indeed, it came with fries.Mentioned this to Mr. Grumpy up front and he simply said sorry and that it should not be on the menu.
