Coming in for lunch at Tandoori Bites I have been a regular for years. I occasionally see the staff sitting down in a seat by the kitchen door when it is not busy. Today 1/15/16 it was very busy for an usual lunch. As I walked into the door I immediately noticed a woman on her phone sitting her ass on the table. This was a table with forks, knives and settings on it. She preceded to not get off of her phone and to keep seated on the table once a customer came inside the facility. Not only did she just sit there she also looks up to stare at all of the customers walking in. This woman remained sitting on top of the table for 25 minutes as I passed her multiple times to get the buffet. After being so insulted that customers are having to witness this woman making a mockery of her work, I asked a male staff member if the woman worked here and he replied yes. I then began to ask if she was the owner of the restaurant and he stated yes that she was one of the owners. At this time the woman is still sitting on the table with legs dangling. Although there is bar seating 3 feet from the table she was sitting on, she chose to sit on a table I have eaten at twice. This sight was unprofessional and disgusting for a dinning establishment like Tandoori Bites. She remained on her phone sitting on the table the entire time I was dining. Not only did they loose a valuable customer. They also do not realize that they alone are ruining their own business by simply being lazy and uneducated in the restaurant industry. This woman needs a reality check to what is appropriate. Her lazy ass sitting on top of a dinning table during rush hour lunch is disturbing and degrading to the customers that she clearly does not hold her restaurant to high standards at all. On top of her skirt being incorporate for the working restaurant environment she was unprofessional and it was simply embarrassing on her part. No one wants to din in a restaurant and see a woman 10 feet away with her ass on a table where you have eaten food before. Great way to ruin a business! I cannot thank her enough for being there today. Not only is their buffet expensive, they have changed their ingredients in multiple menu items and the food tasted horrible today!!! Whoever the owner is, keep your dumb wife at home she’s ruining your company!!!!!!
This is the best restaurant that I have ever eaten at and I think that everyone should go there have eat. Delivery. I called tonight to order delivery, and after I went through my order, the person on the other end tells me it’s a minimum $30 order for delivery. Really? MINUMUM $30? You people are out of your mind if you think I’m going to order $30 worth of food just for delivery! That’s simply ridiculous! You can keep it, and I ordered Chinese, which was a minimum $10 and just as good. I won’t bother eating there again.
Great food. I tried Tandoori Bites last week with some friends. I have never been a fan of Indian food until I had their Chicken Tikka Masala. It was delicious! Perfectly spiced for me. I also recommend starting with Garlic Naan. I am looking forward to going back to try the Lamb Masala. Very friendly staff. Give it a try!
