I’ve been coming to this place since it opened. I now live in Houston and the thing I miss most about Wilmington is Thai Bistro! I’ve eaten Thai all over Houston and none of it is as good as the food from Thai Bistro! The curries are phenomenal, all the flavors are spot on. I would encourage the people writing negative reviews to try different items to see what their palate likes. This restaurant is truly a gem. Lots of western travelers to Asia have said Thai Bistro flavors are truly authentic and gourmet. Not just my favorite place in Wilmington… One of My favorite place in the world! Try it — you won’t regret it! You will leave with a happy tummy.

THE Best Thai!. My husband and I are in Wilmington from NY and we felt like having Thai food. We tried this place last night and loved it!! For our appetizer we had a pork dumpling dish. It was tender and well seasoned. For my main dish I had the Ginger Medley with Chicken and my husband had the Yellow Curry w/chicken. Both AMAZINGLY seasoned. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. We came back tonight for an encore of both dishes it was THAT GOOD! The staff is very friendly and attentive, but I wouldn’t come here if you are in a hurry. Food is cooked up fresh so it took a few moments. It is also is in a weird location in a mini mall off of the Ramada. The next time I am in Wilmington, we will be coming back!!! We’ve eaten in a number of NYC Thai restaurants – they don’t hold a candle to this place.

Pho Real. My boyfriend and I are from Atlanta and have been craving authentic pho since we moved here 2 and a half years ago. When we heard Thai Bistro had some, we quickly made it our goal to try it. We went around 7pm on a Saturday night. At first we were a bit worried by the lack of patrons. There seemed to be only 2 tables there at peak dinner time. However, while we were there, plenty more tables came in. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Cozy and subdued lighting with unique paintings, etc. The appetizer special (though I do not usually do fried) was awesome and a great price. The hot tea was great and our server was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. The pho was delicious! I got the vegetable and my boyfriend got the beef. We were informed that if we wanted the traditional meatball kind we could request it next time. I loved every bit (and bite!) of my experience. 🙂

Disaster. Went here last night. My favorite cuisine is Thai and I’ve never had a bad Thai meal until last night that is, the waitress described a huge portion succulent crispy duck in a sweet sour basil sauce, what I got was fatty soggy small breast of duck that was Ina way too sweet sauce. It was disgusting. Now I know why this place is always empty. Yuk and double yuk, will never set foot in here again.

Great Food. I have eaten at Thai Bistro at least a dozen times. I am always happy. The vegetables are fresh, I feel like I get a fresh and healthy meal always. Especially good for people who don’t eat gluten! Wine list is a bit lacking. Food is amazing.

I was a liitle concerned when I was the only customer at 6:30 at night and should have considered it a sign of things to come. The service was attentive and helpful though the menu was lacking. First of all sweet white wines pair particularly well with spicy food yet the only offerings were Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay which just doesn’t work. As for the food the chicken was ridiculously tough yet the vegetables were pratically raw. Wanting an authentic meal I ordere it Thai hot which was barely a medium. Overall the food was barely on par with any Chinese takeout in town. Very disappointed overall.
