Must have been a Good night for The George On The Riverwalk. If you impress my wife you’ve done a lot. She was impressed. Our server was friendly attentive and service was superb. They made a mistake on out salad and the server corrected it immediately without any coercing or negotiating. The mistake was theirs and it got fixed. The salad was excellent. Our entrees came out very quickly and hot. Everything was seasoned well and very delicious. The drinks were fabulous. We enjoyed our evening out on the beautiful Wilmington River Walk at The George. This was a Great evening !!
Our server was attentive, funny, and friendly. Coffee was hot and delicious. I had the steak and eggs from the brunch menu and added a side of cheese grits. The portions were great! We finished with the brownie a la mode. So good!
Literally could not believe what was served, let alone for the price. I don’t know how a steak could be butchered so much that was also covered in onion rings and canned gravy that was still cold enough to be in chunks. It kind of felt like me and my wife got our food out of a warmer. The scallops came out half cold and half warm. It was something I would expect at a 10 dollar diner, not from an $80 dinner not including drinks.
This waterfront restaurant served amazing brunch meals, friendly service, amazing views and even catered to four-legged son! Patio eating looks out over the waterfront. Perfect meal for a beautiful day. Will visit again…FANTASTIC!
Am surprised at the negative reviews: we’ve always had good food there, occasionally service has been a little slow but it’s not a fast food type of place, it’s an enjoyable atmosphere. The shrimp and grits are very good, as is the salmon, the mahi mahi.
Not good. I had dinner there and I got the crab dip and the shrimp and grits the crab dip taste like a chunky fondue because the amount of cheese with no crab in it and the shrimp and grits were horrible really felt like I wasted money on a horrible meal
Unorganized mess. Food was cooked wrong and served cold when we got it there are better places a block away. Try those instead
