This place was way too expensive to have to cook our own entrees. If you aren’t going for dessert or appetizers I wouldnt waste your time.
Enjoyable for everyone.. On my recent visit to the Wilmington melting pot, i was more than pleased to see that the restaurant accommodates all ages. I was originally worried that it was not a kid friendly atmosphere but I noticed they even hand out coloring books and colored pencils for each child. It’s very rare that you can have a romantic setting that can also be okay for children, but the melting pot is big enough to have different atmospheres, the front dining room is spacious, great for a friendly lunch/dinner or one with the family, as you get led to the back, there is a section my server referred to as ‘lover’s lane’, this section is perfect for date nights or celebrating with your significant other, they have a party room with tvs which you can have turned to your preferred channel, there are booths in the bar area, opposite the dining room, and there are also burners up at the bar tops, lastly, there is the patio, burners on the tables there as well, and if it’s too sunny your server sill kindly pull down the outdoor shade. I was pleased to find that the melting pot offers two burner tables, I don’t set red meat, but the people i came with do, the wonderful hostess sat us with two burners so i could have my own pot and not worry about mixing with everyone. Overall, the experience i had was great! The food was delicious, i left more than full, and our server’s knowledge of everything we ate was extensive, what would pair well with our meal, and what was in our meal. I highly suggest making a visit to melting pot if you’re in the Wilmington area!
PERFECT NIGHT OUT!!. This restaurant has never stopped amazing me. I have been coming here since they have opened and enjoyed every experience from start to finish. The food is perfect, the staff is always smiling and happy to help you with anything, and the atmosphere is on rivaled by indochine. i highly suggest checking it out for yourself. Don’t miss out trying the dessert as well as a banana bread beer!
This restaurant is absolutely wonderful! My boyfriend and I have gone there just the two of us and have also taken our children there. Zac is the BEST! He is always so accommodating and makes sure everything taste good. Everyone is always so friendly and makes sure we have a great dining experience. I highly recommend trying The Melting Pot…you will be hooked!
Ladies Nights. Can’t beat their cheese and chocolate specials on Wednesday! Grabs some gal pals and head out for a night of conversation.
The GIANTS of wilmington. I have been there at least four times and plan to go back for more. I have had Matt as my waiter last two times and was thrilled with his service. Truelly he is the stick all other waiters should be measured with. the food is wonderful and you never leave unsatisfied.
One Word, Amazing. By far the best dinning experience in the Wilmington area. The decor is so inviting and beautiful and has the best atmosphere for a date night. The food and drinks are fabulous and always excellent service. During the week there is always great specials. Tuesday is ladies nights, all four courses for $25/person plus drink specials. I personally spent more on ladies night at the fondue restaurant downtown and was a little disappointed since prices of add-ons was never mention. At the melting pot everything is explained perfectly for anyone to understand. Even for first timers, the Big Night Out is the best way to enjoy all four courses to get the whole fondue experience.
