Overpriced and Overrated!!!!. I went to this place assuming with the positive reviews I saw online and with them winning Best Hotdogs in Wilmington this place would be a great place to eat. Boy was I wrong on all accounts. I went to their website to get an idea of what I wanted to order and when I went up to place my order the snippy old lady said that the menu on their website hadn’t been updated in months and the prices and Daily Specials were different than what their website advertised. the 2 old bats working behind the counter were trying to rush me because a line was forming behind me so I just ordered 2 hotdogs and a drink which came to around $9.00. I ordered 2 Chicago dogs and they were made completely different than each other. Well all I can say about the hotdogs, they are so Overrated and Overpriced, There were barely any toppings on the hotdogs and I had to go back up to the counter and ask for more. I get better hotdogs w/ the toppings and customer service from The Cookout across the street for half the price and they still taste 100 times better than these. the counter help here sure could use a quick kick in the rear end if you know what I mean. Bad Attitudes and No People Skills what so ever. this was my first and last time eating here.
You never sausage a place… Rocket fast service, great selection of dogs….all meat Surfer Dog (cheese and bacon) can’t be beat!
Great…BURGERS!. We usually think of Trolly Stop for their great hot dogs. A little known secret is fountain drive’s hand pattied made to order burgers cooked on the flat top grill. What used to be our favorite hot dog place is now our favorite hamburger place.
