One of the worst places. Ugly rundown place in a unsafe area with rusty bottle caps in the unpaved small parking lot. No sink in the dirty small bathroom-it was in the hallway. Can sodas so you do not get free refills. Fries were horrible-old and had no salt/seasoning and were not hot. Ketchup brand was Monarch and it was cheap and tasted terrible-they need to get Heinz. Messed up my son’s burger twice so he was not able to eat much of it since he can’t stand onions and the waitress was told twice he did not want any. They tried scraping it off in the back since it came back out in just a few minutes but they missed taking some off and he almost got sick right there at the table. Had to pay $9 for it anyway. My burger was surely not even close to the best burger I have had. There are many other places I would go. I will certainly never return to this dump. I am sure this joint is hardly sanitary. They should close the doors and bulldoze this old place down to the ground. I should have trusted my gut feeling when I drove up and gone somewhere else.

Like is such a weak word!. This was an awesome burger! I had the Jalepeno burger, double. It was incredible. The Chipotle sauce is not one to miss either. Not too spicey, just right. Great food !!. We were looking for a non-commercial dining spot,, Looking through all the listing Winnie’s was on my mind. So off we went in search .. OMG the service and food are WONDERFUL. Don’t let the outside fool you. We WILL be back often.. Thank-you so much for giving us the best burger in wilmington

A hidden gem for sure. the jalapeno burger is amazing. They cook everythingto order, but it is well worth the wait.
Hole-in-the-wall goodness…. Whatta burger! Juicy, thick and perfectly charred on the flat top. Spend the extra buck for the awesome onion rings instead of fries. Wash it down with a daily beer special and enjoy the (lack of) ambience at the bar. Special place…special burger. Not in the mood for a burger? Try the fried bologna sandwich! (And, FYI, they do accept credit cards now…)
