Amazing food and excellent service! Best steak and calamari I’ve had in Wilmington. Everything is top notch and super fresh. Calamari and salad was perfect as well.
My husband and I stumbled upon this place while in Wilmington for the week. Saturday night during the busy season yielded a fully packed restaurant and bar area, but we were seated quickly and our service was good. Our server seemed exhausted but was nice enough. The decor was fabulous but the atmosphere was a bit stuffy and it was very difficult to have a decent conversation, even at the small tables. However, the food left nothing to be desired. The onion soup gratinee was a meal in itself . . . and simply delicious. The plate your own salad was a great idea. It was crisp and fresh; and I could have eaten the poached pears for dessert. Divine! My husband ordered the scallops and said they were cooked perfectly. I was too full for dessert but we may just make a weekday return trip just for the dessert and coffee. Hopefully, the atmosphere will be less hectic and more conducive to conversation and relaxation.
WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. I used to go here for lunch and had wonderful experiences, but after tonight this place has left a horrid taste in my mouth, literally.We went on a Tuesday night, 3 in our group. It wasn’t busy but there was quite the abundance of waitstaff (at least 8 servers). We were promptly seated and ordered within 5 minutes of getting there (just a tad before 8pm). Our server came back around 20 minutes later to tell us our entrees would be out shortly, yet didn’t offer us more bread or ask if we would be wanting another beer; he then proceeded to dissapear. 45 minutes later our food came out. 45 MINUTES. Not only had our food clearly been sitting under the heater (it was lukewarm when it came out), but the pasta was not properly cooked and the crab and fish crepe stunk of three day old fish. I still took a bite of the crepe and am currently suffering from that horrid taste as I write this. Then we had to go find a manager to talk to because as we mentioned our food wasn’t right our server disappeared again. Of course we paid for our beers, not the food, but the manager should have offered a complimentary meal for another time instead of boxing our food or offering to remake it (wait another 45 minutes? No thank you). Maybe if they didn’t have as many employees sitting around with their thumbs up their a***** pretending to be busy and actually had an competent manager who was aware of what was going on in the restaurant this wouldn’t have been such a terrible experience. I’ve worked in the service industry for over 4 years and in fine dining for over 2. This was an absolutely horrid experience and I do not wish this upon any patron
Food is great. The food . Selections and service are worth an evening at the restaurant. However, if you are looking for a place to have a romantic dinner this may not be the best choice. The restaurant does get crowded and is noisy – then again it is really good and a fun place to be.
A favorite. Great atmosphere and staff. solid food and great pommes frites and steaks. Somewhat noisy. great choice for after beach nicer dining. year round favorite.

Amazing. So so good! Brasserie is under the same owner as other local restaurants such as OC, The kitchen, Towne, and Boca Bay and they all have delicious food and great service. Would recommend this place to everyone. I personally like the create your own salad
