Awesome Experience!. To celebrate our son’s college graduation, my husband and I hosted a dinner at The Bridge Tender. With the patience of a saint, Chris helped us plan the menu and answered all our questions. The table location and service were excellent, and the food was delicious. My husband said that his filet was one of the best he had ever eaten. We are delighted that we chose The Bridge Tender for this momentous occasion.
Not worth it . Bad food, bad service , overpriced for food quality . We spent 170 for 4 for dinner . If I had it all to do over again I would get a pack of crackers , and call it a night . That bad , this place used to be good .
The tenders of bridges. Great food, even better staff and a phenomenal bus boy who never quits.
An Absolute Must! I couldn’t decided btw fresh seafood or the USDA Black Angus Prime Beef so I created my own surf n turf. Plus a homemade baked to order bread pudding for dessert. Might have to wait to b seated, but who has a problem waiting with a view right on the intracoastal?
Love love love this place!!! The waitstaff is attentive, with great views of the ICWW. The crabcakes are the best I have ever tasted (and I love the chipotle roumalaude). Instead of slaw, I get the mixed veggies and they are yummy. Mom craves their potato soup but I have never tasted a bad soup there. The tuna is a favorite among my friends. The chicken salad is delicious too. For dessert there us a Key Lime pie that defies gravity it’s so tall. On nice days, ask to sit on the patio for an extra special treat and watch the boat go by and the draw bridge go up. Very affordable for lunch.
Go to the Cape Fear River Instead. The restaurant seated us 15 minutes late, in an area we did not want in, in spite of us having reservations. After we were seated the service was slow and spotty. My water glass was empty too long, the server left without asking about drinks with our food after he took our food order. The food quality was not what it should have been for a restaurant in this price range.
The hostess didn’t acknowledge our presence. She saw me, sat a table, and walked away. My party stood there waiting and after ten minutes of the hostess not returning and not being able to find another employee, we walked out.
