Watery gas station coffee and not a single fresh item in sight. I suspect if it’s not froZen first, it’s not getting on the menu. Processed guacamole. Nasty grey strawberries and soul-less sausage. Even if you are a tourist with nowhere else to go, don’t go. Not until they get some fresh food in there. It might take a few years and another change of ownership. They have such an opportunity at this location, but seemed to just opt for food service foodstuffs. I’m bummed.
Went to breakfast at King Neptune for the first time. The portions were of average size but what really turned this meal into a disaster was that my toast had mole on it. After bringing this to their attention they didn’t apologize or offer any compensation for something that was totally unacceptable
Came for breakfast, it was fine, not a wow factor, because it was breakfast. Coffee was not good, my only complaint
Great food, very good service. Definitely coming here for breakfast the next time we are at the beach.
Great food and great prices, most under $10. Looks like they are under new ownership so try it again if you didn’t like it before.
Had an average meal for the price. The dining room was empty at 6:00p–but the waitress told me after ordering they were out of scallops then we watched the fish special and three other items be removed from menu board. I would try it again, after seeing what others had to offer.
WARNING!!. Came here during a day trip from Raleigh and was excited to eat some seafood. Absolutely terrible!!!! I am not a picky eater and can stand a lot of things, but this was the worst experience I have ever had. The fried mussels were ok but then I got some that were half mussel and half raw batter. The side of green beans were clearly CANNED. My friend had sauted shrimp and they were so tinny for a main entree. The service was ok. The waitress was new but that was understandable but the bus boy kept texting on his phone and hovering over our table to take plates. We should have ran far far away when we walked in at 6:00 pm and we were the second table.
