Wrightsville Beach Area Gem. This is a great quick lunch spot close to my office, chicken parmesean is to die for. Big portion, totally enough for lunch, with chips for about 7 bucks. What a great deal. I’ll definitely be trying more on their menu.
Grab and Go. Service could be more welcoming and friendly like Taste of Italy but the food is good and quick.
Unbelievably incredible!. How have I missed out on such amazing food for so many years! Martino’s is less than 3 miles from house and I only just tried it today…will absolutely be back soon!To start, Martino is incredibly nice and helpful, he answered all my questions and was extremely friendly! I was getting a few things for a simple at home lunch with a friend. I ordered a spinach bread, stuffed artichokes and cannoli. He offered to heat everything for me but I had an hour so I declined. I wrapped the spinach bread in an aluminum tent as well as the artichokes and reheated in the oven at 300 degrees (completely forgot to ask what he suggested for reheating). The spinach bread turned into a golden crusty loaf of absolute delicousness. I had some homemade marinara sauce that we dipped it in. The stuffed artichokes are on my list of all time favorite foods now. Stuffed with bread crumbs, gorgonzola, and garlic drizzled with high quality olive oil. I wish I had ordered more, I really cannot even describe how incredible they are. The cannoli was equally delectable. Sweet but not overly so, lightly sprinkled with chocolate chips in a homemade shell. The shell is not crispy but more chewy with a light crisp.I really cannot wait for my next visit. Everything looked amazing and next time I think I’ll try one of the chicken dishes and maybe the tiramisu but I will absolutely order more of the stuffed artichokes! I don’t eat pork or beef but the meatballs looked pretty tasty too!
Oh how I love this place. Their homemade pastas are to die for, and I will go out of my way to have one of their Italian Subs. Everything tastes fresh, and as someone who has lived in Italy, and I can say it’s very authentic.
Best in town. To the dog food comment, I’ve been going to Martino’s for years now, ever since they opened up and I know that if I… or anyone else for that matter, ever had a problem with the food or anything else, he would take care of it immediately. But of course, I realize that some people like to hide behind the internet just to make others look bad, instead of facing the problem and resolving it logically.
Charlie Meakin. The very best sandwiches in this area of the east coast. Martino really understands that the best meats, cheeses, and breads are the keys to the best sandwiches, so he uses the best available in this area.
DOG FOOD. I think Martino must be buying cheap ingredients, cause thats what it tastes like to me. Just pure dog food in my opinion. Overpriced too.
