The only steak house in coastal nc. Having a love for angus i find most places really are not able to call themselves a steak house, this place is! always cooked to your liking, always clean and the servers look professional and smile and act proper. the best steaks in all of coastal nc….nothing else compares at all! don’t bother with those chains, they are terrible, just eat here and you will know that!
Completely Overrated. Was recommended to come here for a special anniversary. My steak was overcooked and the mashed potatoes were instant…and it was obvious. Very disappointed!
Very bland!! Bad experience. My boyfriend and I went there for a romantic dinner before he left for a trip. The $28 steaks were sooo bland and weirdly pale (looked like pork chop, tasted like NOTHING). Stingy portions for price. Waitress never bothered to see how things were, had to flag a bus boy to send it back. Waitress returned to say that the manager wouldn’t comp it just free dessert. I told her i didn’t want dessert because I wasn’t satisfied from dinner… really disappointing night especially when you’re expecting to enjoy a special meal together.
Fancy Expensive and Good. Nice Drinks, Excellent Service, Terrific steaks and chops. We are always treated very well and very happy. Bottom Line – Great special occasion place –

Famous Angus Beef a Bust. I had been to the Port City Chop House once before and had a good experience. My last experience, however, was far from good. I ordered the small prime rib. It was as tough as shoe leather. Our server didn’t seem to care. I told the manager about it on our way out. He didn’t seem to care either. No, I won’t be back. There are simply too many great restaurants around here to waste money on a poorly run, and inconsistent place
