How have we missed visiting Sweet n Savory until now! What a gem, the staff was super friendly and prompt, my Dont Mess With Texas sandwich was fresh, tasty and HUGE! My brides prime rib sandwich was a bit undercooked (for her, that is) but just as huge, fresh and enjoyable. We hit the dessert cabinets and brought home some outstanding cheese and raspberry pastries to enjoy later.Looks like weve found another regular food stop! I heartily recommend anyone to give Sweet n Savory Cafe a try.
Delicious breakfast/lunch spot! I had the Carne Huevos Rancheros which has the most perfectly cooked brisket! Everything about my dish was great!! You get A LOT of food for $11. My husband ordered one of the hash bowls also with brisket and he loved it as well! Great & fast service. Super friendly staff!
Our server was amazingly attentive, and we were seated right away on a busy Saturday morning. However, the food was all wrong. I ordered fried green tomatoes Benedict and the eggs were over cooked and cold. The cheese hash browns had raw onions on top (yuck) instead of diced and cooked with it. The fried green tomato was under seasoned and also cold. My husband had toast that was completely burnt on one side and disliked the hash browns. The coffee was delicious and the only I truly enjoyed. It has a great atmosphere and I tipped 20% because the server was awesome and she deserved it. I would say the kitchen was overwhelmed, and I definitely wouldn’t suggest this place for breakfast.
