TERRIBLE — wish my trolly hadn’t stopped there. Went to the TS in Wrightsville Beach yesterday (Easter Sunday) for the first time. Two staff on duty – one girl and one boy, both teenagers who couldn’t care less about being there. The day was cold and rainy, and the dogs were cold and tasteless. I get that they don’t have a grill, but they could at least serve them hot (hence HOT dogs.) Buns and toppings were generic and rather dull-tasting as well.

Great hotdogs!. We run across from the beach for a quick lunch. Great dogs! If the line is long, check out some of the local shops and come back when it’s not out the door. A local favorite we always try to hit when we visit!
First in my mind. Some might say Louie’s, but Trolley Stop will always be #1 in my mind. Surfer dog and Battleship are among the best ‘odd’ dogs, but you just can’t beat the NC way, mustard, chili, slaw, and onions.Such a huge bonus that the downtown location is now open until 3am, no more overpriced pizza for me!
Make Mine A Surfer!. Too expensive? You’re joking, right? Dude, their hot dogs are $2.50 a piece! You must be thinking of some other place. Fast food, great dogs with vegetarian and all-beef alternatives. Never been a huge fan of their french fries, so I always choose chips as my side.
Woof!. You guys realize that they are not actually COOKING anything here! If you like dirty water hot dogs, you will like these…A normal meal here would be about 7 bucks, and a family of four it would be something like 23-28…NOT cheap…
Good, fast, cheap eats.. After a day of rambling around on the beach, this is a great spot for a quick bite. The chicago dog and wrightsville beach dogs are my favs. It’s a small place and you can expect to be crowded inside, but order, pay, and shuffle back out to one of the nearby tables to enjoy the best dogs in wrightsville.
