Not really a good breakfast choice unless you want take-out. I came to eat in. There was no one else there, the lobby was filled with cookfire smoke, there was no coffee made and the woman who would take my order was engrossed in something on her iPhone. Eventually ordered 2 bacon and egg tacos, and coffee.The coffee, when it was made, was very good if you like caf de la olla; I don’t. And the only creamer they have are little packets of dry powder, and no artificial sweeteners. The tacos I got were potato and egg, not what I ordered, but I ate it anyway. The potatoes were french fried, very greasy, but overall the flavours were excellent and the tacos were made with attention to detail. Bismarck has absolutely no Mexican restaurants that I would return to except for this one. This is the real deal without the bad water… My favorite is their Steak Tacos – as good as you will find on the street corners in Mexico. This is as close to Mexico that you will find this far north if the border – seriously this is the best in town. I am forever greatfull to find truely authentic dishes representative of the real Mexican cuisine. Don’t come here for a Chimicanga – cause that simply is not even a real Mexican dish. These people cook with their heart and proudly represent the cousine of Mexico. You will not find cheese laden dishes here – this is as good as my mother-in-law’s .. I’ll be back again and again.. Best authentic Mexican restaurant in Bismarck. Taco Palenque thank you for the authenticity of your Mexican food . This family owned gem takes pride in the preparation and cooking of their food . The pork, chicken, and shredded beef tacos are amazingly moist and taste absolutely phenomenal ! This little place is like a ma and pa, type restaurant and has a quaint ambience with great food and service . The owner is a very nice guy taking the times to chat and making sure everything is just right .Truly the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Bismarck, you won’t be disappointed ! This is not Americanized or Tex-Mex food .
