We went for lunch and sat on the patio. Great spot for a drink and to split some nachos- which I recommend. Breezy with a side of booze! Clam chowder and Irish chicken sandwich are both flavorful and rich but the beef stroganoff – it took the gold prize!! Robust and smooth, you can even see the herbs! I liked the sauce and meat combo with the mushrooms. If we come back then we will stop here!
The service and food were great! The Shepard’s Pie was outstanding. The corn beef was lean, plentiful and excellent. The meatloaf was good but a bit spicy for my 85 year old mother. Don’t miss the creamed cabbage or the sweet potatoes fries!
