I counted 39 beers on tap, not including the 4 specials of the night and a pretty decent bottled menu. Burgers and sandwiches, done well with a friendly staff. Great outdoor patio, too. Bismarck is a pretty good beer town, but JL Beers definitely holds its own for selection – local ND breweries plus MT, CO, OR, NE, CA, MI, WI, WA, IL, MO, HI, UT selections. And of course Guinness and Belgian beers. Now if theyd just add some Iron Duke or Treetop theyd get 5 stars!

To go with all the great custom crafted beers you can get a not so ordinary burger and fresh cut fries all while enjoy a comfy friendly atmosphere. JL Beers tops my list of go to places so don’t miss it!!!
Burger & beer joint with an impressive selection of brews on tap. Burgers are tasty and reasonably priced but the fries could be better. If you’re in the mood to drink some quality craft beer this is probably the best place in the town. Just expect a wait, the small space & limited seating means this place is usually packed.
