It was Saturday night and the place was packed, so I sat in the bar area. Plenty of people seemed to be having a good time. Lots of margaritas around. I ordered a burrito. It was a pork burrito. It took a very long time to be delivered to me, but I did understand they were packed out. They had a happy hour with $4 margaritas and it was still going on for seven more minutes at the point of my order of one margarita. The burrito was mediocre, maybe the worst I had ever tasted, but still edible. But when my bill came, I noted I was charged almost $7 for the margarita. I asked the waitress when happy hour ended and she told me 7 and then I told her I had ordered that drink before 7. She told me the $7 price was the happy hour price. However she had made the mistake of leaving the drink list on my table with the prices. So I showed her what she already knew, that the price was really $4. I have had bad meals in other places, but I think it was my first experience with fraud and outright lying. I can forgive a bad meal. Every restaurant has good and bad items. But fraud is really unique in my experience. But I will not be going back there to experience it again.
The best mexican food out there. The enchiladas, tacos, and chimichangas are my favorites, with beef and green chili sauce, and I haven’t tried anything there I didn’t like. Even the little things like their salsa, guacamole, freshly fried tortilla chips, and rice are so delicious. They use fresh ingredients, and they slow roast their meats for hours. I tried this place once, a year ago, and I have been back at least once a week since that day. Go try it!
Best In Town. I love this food!!!!! Absolutely the best Mexican food in town. I have probably ordered 10 different items off the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet. I wish I could have lunch there every day. They need to open a full sized restaurant so I can have a beer with dinner.
Awesome!. Went there yesterday for lunch and was nothing short of happy with what I had to eat. They were busy so it took a while to get the food after we ordered, but it was New Mexico style authentic Mexican food! The chips were hot and fresh and the enchiladas were incredible, according to my friend. I had a burrito that wasn’t massive in size, but was extremely tasty! I am going to go back.
In a food court in a mall. No ambiance but good authentic Mexican food. Call a day ahead for tamales.
