Nice food in small town. Have been here so many times but still good to come back for nice lunch. Too bad they close early for dinner sometimes.
We Had a great meal here. The cheese ravioli was outstanding. The stuffed burger my husband had was huge & had waffle fries. The server was great, very helpful but not pushy. Prices were in line with this area. We’d eat here again.
Disappointing. If you’re hungry for below average pizza, you have all day, you’d like to part with a good chunk of change, and you like being waited on by high school dropouts with lots of tattoos and piercings – this place is for you. I’ve been dragged here occasionally in groups over the past year due to a lack of other restaurants. The service is consistently slow and, I really don’t have a better word for this, contemptuous. These inked up mouth-breathers they have working there seem like they are annoyed at the costumers for wasting their time. Clearly the owners take no pride in this establishment. They are just raking in the money – but they only get away with it because there are so few places to eat in town. Not a formula for long term success….
Good Beers. Chain Food. Nothing Special. Went here with a coworker on a business trip. They have a good craft beer selection and our server was helpful. Beyond that, nothing special. I don’t know if this is a chain, but it felt industrial. We had wings, a pizza, the goat cheese dip, and salad. The salad was the best of the bunch. Fresh greens and the Thai dressing had fresh garlic in it too. Yum. The buffalo wings were big but unremarkable in texture or flavor. The pizza tasted completely commercial; heavy dough, oversauced and too much cheese. The goat cheese dip was a mess, I think they were going for a white sauce based, but the sauce was broken, so any creaminess I was expecting was not there. An extra minus is that I let the server know about the sauce afterwards, she said she would tell the manager – either she didn’t or the manager didn’t take the time to ask me. Bad customer care.
Don’t let the ambiance fool you. Food was subpar with processed chicken and flavorless buffalo bleu cheese mac and cheese. Was more like a basic pasta. I can look past the food…but the service in the bar left me feeling offended. Not once was I asked how my food was, water wasn’t refilled and I was literally tossed a to-go box on the bar counter (which I wasn’t even asked if I wanted…which I didn’t). I travel for a living and have experienced a lot of restaurants but this was the first in a long time that I left feeling so disappointed and actually kind of ticked.
MacKenzie has the corner in Bismark! The pizza is fantastic and the goat cheese queso an unexpected find paired with a light plum wine and a full bodied pigs ass lager ! Lol great evening!
This is a great restaurant, and they have delicious food and a nice atmosphere. The pizza is amazing and the house dressing is so good.
