Very nice restaurant. Very friendly staff. We came in as a family of four two of our group were 8 and 9 years old and they loved the food. There is a little something for everyone on the menu. From pizza to steak, pasta and chicken wings. A very good family experience.
Fantastic food!. We come here fairly often and the food is always good. Today, it was exceptionally religious. The Adult Bacon Mac-n-Cheese was creamy, with tons of bacon and perfectly done pasta. The spinach salad was, OMG, amazing. The goat cheese croquettes are better when hot, but it was still excellent. We also ordered the roasted garlic appetizer (off menu). Sometimes, the garlic is too mushy, but today it was the perfect texture, served with buttery bread. Everything was perfectly seasoned…and I am the type of person who puts salt on saltines. Can’t wait till next time!
I really like this place and enjoy that they offer healthy options such as bean burgers. I also like the sweet potato fries! One thing that I would change is the house salad. Instead of using iceberg lettuce, it would be nice to have some sort of spring mix instead.
Not sure what all the hype is about….not impressed and we ordered apps, entrees and a pizza. Way better choices in Bismarck.
Best beer selection in Bismarck. Went to the walrus last night for the first time. First of all, there was a great selection of beer, well over 70 by my count. I ordered a medium rare ribeye and the garlic potatoes. The Ribeye was cooked perfectly, highly flavorful and fork tender. My wife had the Ravioli Gorgonzola and loved it. Despite the two bad reviews below, I highly suggest you visit the place for yourself
Remarkably bad. Unpleasant service, mediocre atmosphere, and truly horrendous food. The beer selection is ok but features no local North Dakota beer (for out of towners this is disappointing). Honestly, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
Tried a several times, can’t like it. Will go to Walrus when others want to but not a personal choice. That said, the Tuscan salad is only thing I order. Beware, veggies are usually overcooked and oily and chopped to hell that you get a mushy mess on top of greens.
