Spent $30 on breakfast for my wife and I, left what most would consider a generous tip for a coffee spot/breakfast. Got called to pick up my food, and the very next customer after me got their food delivered to them. The Reuben was good, the drink wasn’t particularly for my taste, but I guess that happens when they give you no direction when you ask.
I will never go back. I went to Babb’s to do some homework on my computer. I ordered soup, sandwich, frappe and bottled water, plus a tip for each of the barristas (I made it a good one since I ordered so much for myself, lol). I asked about the free wi-fi, they gave me a password. Apparently it only works for an hour????? I was in the middle of a quiz and it kicked me out once the 60 minutes were up, no warning, nothing. I went back up to get another password, they said I had to order more food/drinks. I had spent $30+ and they wanted more money?? I wasn’t planning on sitting there for hours upon hours, and I understand they want people to buy things to use the internet, but if I had known that I would have spaced my purchases out, and forget about the tip. They were so rude. Never going back.
