Lunch and Dinner. I’ve eaten here several times now, but had lunch here for the first time today. I have enjoyed a number of meals, the staff are well trained and perform well… on top of that they are friendly!
Very good steak! Always quiet and classy setting, so nice to go to a non chain restaurant where your not just another number! Oh and did I mention dessert? Yummy Creme brulee
I live in Chicago and we have great steakhouses. When the hostess and the waiter said do the steak….I backed off my taste for fish.Glad I did. The 10oz filet was so flavorful and amazing I was in shock. Do the Malbec as a by the glass choice.I cannot understand how their rating isn’t in the high 80’s or 90.I’ll be back next time in town;)
Good but not great. We had fish and pasta. Both were huge helpings which neither of us could finish. The server was enthusiastic but couldn’t really recommend a good wine. The atmosphere is quiet and dark which we liked, but then the jazz piano player came in and spoiled that… sorry, not a big fan of jazz.
Frozen Salad. The lettuce in my caesar salad was frozen and turning to limp, watery goo. The manager was very reluctant to do anything about it. After much back and forth, she finally discounted my un-edible meal. Thanks for giving me green mush, taking my 9 dollars then discounting it to the bargain of $7.50. I ended up full of something… just not dinner.
