Dining here was a highlight in our Spring Break (April in the 20s) to Fargo area. The menu is fresh and unique . Pizza selections that are packed with fresh local ingredients . We were offered a pizza that was mistakenly baked. It was AMAZING … topped with lamb sausage, red onion, Thai Basil and hoisin sauce drizzled on it. Then our original order arrived. The Lumberjack, truly appropriate for any time of day. Topped with bacon, Canadian bacon, fried eggs and lightly touched with maple syrup. Sadly its a four hour drive away.
downtown always just has an appeal in the evening especially now with the trees being lit up for Christmas and store fronts decorating for Christmas. we did not have to wait to be seated, we dined at a high top for two right across from the open concept kitchen. its not a big place by any means but it has character and simple decor.our waitress was really nice, answered any questions and helped me decide on a beverage (mix of unsweetened tea & raspberry tea) i would certainly order again.the salad special did sound like fall in a bowl but we didn’t really want to waste any space on anything but pizza.i ordered the Thai Chicken; i thought the crust was done well and all the toppings were tasty especially once i added hot sauce as i always need heat.hubby made his own; pepperoni, mushrooms & smoked bacon. he felt it was lacking some flavor, but upon sprinkling some salt on the flavors burst.hubby finished his whole pizza but was stuffed after, i took half mine home. we would most certainly eat here again.
Absolutely the best meal we had this week in Fargo. Had a build your own pizza. I’m not a huge fan of pizza but loved this one. The Meditteranean chopped salad was also the most flavourful I’ve ever had. To top it all off we tried the pineapple upside down cake. I don’t like cake but the rum cake this was made with was so moist and delicious.
