Hate giving negative reviews especially since a buddy of mine praises this place, but after eating here 3 times and having bad experiences everytime I have decided this place is an expensive wast of money. The first 2 times our family ate there our orders were either wrong, or with over cooked hash browns, overcooked eggs and even once sour chocolate milk my daughter drank most of before telling me it tasted funny. So nothing really bad although when you spend $35 on a meal it seems like maybe these things should happen less. Now this last time we were there my order was wrong they forgot the bacon in my omelet no biggie right? So before eating any I mentioned it to the waitress who then made it seem like a hassle for her to deal with – I bit my tongue and said it’s fine, we’ll right after she went to another employee and made it seem like I was being a jerk and then proceeded to say so sorry about your bacon. Maybe she was just having a bad day I mean we did hear her complaining about a mess someone left when we were getting seated. someone should tell her that it’s not hard for customers to hear those things in such a small place.
Pancakes were very good. Syrup was delightful. Caramel rolls also very good. Service was excellent. No wait at noon on a Sunday. That might change as the surroundings are quaint (seats about 60 comfortably). Even had huge fresh baked cookies we bought to go. Price was equally appealing as two people ate very well for around $20.
Average. Limited menu, cafe style, appropriately priced. I went for breakfast I had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are good and the gravy wasn’t my style but not bad. my significant other had a hand made burger he said it was average but not bad. coffee was good but the cup was tiny and the refills were prompt. The waitress was polite but non existing never asked how the food was. I won’t be returning simple due to lack luster feel.
