Atmosphere is absolutely wonderful-‘Old time barn style bbq. We loved the brisket, the mac n cheese and the mashed potatoes! The onion strings were good.and the variety of BBQ sauces is great! I enjoyed the Fargo tap and our service was okay. Only thing we were unhappy with was the ribs, which is what this place is known for- came out burnt and were very fatty. Other than this, I would recommend the place (just don’t bother with the ribs!)

Great for the family. Perfect family mrsl, we always get the all American meal, fries, ribs, bricket, chicken, beans, colelaw, cornbread. Very good. The bread pudding for dessert. This is one of the best desserts I have ever had. The service is fast and clean atmosphire
Great deal for 4-6 people. Service was warm and hospitable and the decor was appropriate to a true BBQ shack.Our party ordered Dave’s All-American BBQ Feast. The ribs were delicious and tender albeit they could have been a bit softer. The country roasted chicken and the Georgia chopped pork were good but I wasn’t blown away. The beef brisket was quite delicious.Dave’s All-American BBQ Feast is a great value ($58) for parties of 4-6.
Good food, portions are a nice size, and friendly staff.
Terrific service and hospitality! However though there BBQ tastes good mid-winter it is far from great. It’s a good reminder of summer.
Terrific BBQ. I really enjoy dining at Famous Dave’s. The ribs are terrific and I love the bbq sauce that they use. The chicken wings are equally as good. The theme of a roadhouse is well pulled off and they use a good dose of humour in their presentation. This carries over to the staff who provide excellent service. Famous Dave’s is in my top 5 of favourite Fargo restaurants.
