Very typical Chinese Buffet with MSG laden food. Really nothing unique or spectacular about this place other than it is right in downtown…but then again, I usually have cravings once and a while for this kind of food!
Not worth it. Probably the lowest quality buffet in Fargo, ND, and that says something. The food has always been sitting out far too long, and dishes are often left empty for a long time as well. If I wasn’t often downtown and craving Chinese food, I’d never go again. The location is nice though, and so are the people, it’s just very low quality food.
Best Moo Goo Gai Pan!. The King House Buffet has great food! The moo goo gai pan was the best, though – very flavorful. The General Tso’s chicken and the honey sesame chicken were wunderbar. It’s an overall good buffet that I’d recommend.
Order fresh. Why order the buffet at any Chinese restaurant? You never know how long it’s been sitting around. Order exactly what you want from their menu and they will make it fresh for you. You will get plenty of food and it will taste better. The soup here is fresh and cheap and delicious. I get it to go all the time.
If you like every dish to be deep fried and to taste the same you will surely not be disappointed.
Great during busy times. Go during peak hours only! otherwise the food does sit there and is cold and flavorless. Great during peak hours!
