My wife and I decided to give LeeLa Thai another try tonight (last time we arrived we stood in the doorway like unwelcomed guests for 15 min so we left) and tonight we were greeted right away which was an improvement. Unfortunately, there was only one server on staff AGAIN and it took us 20 minutes just to place our order. This place has good food and thats why we come back however we are begining to question why they don’t take waitstaff elements of their business seriously? Customer experience score is 3/10……food is 9/10.
Wow. Really enjoyed this Restaurant. My colleague and I visited LeeLa after a few days business in Fargo and were pleasantly surprised. The food is authentic (although be sure to ask for the spice jar to add a little heat) and very flavorful. If you are in the mood for something tasty, healthy and unique, this is the spot. The place is authentic and I have travelled all over the US. The only place I have had better was in San Diego, but that says alot about this little place in Fargo. Thanks much, and I will be back.
The food here is spectacular. I have friends that have lived in Thailand for years at a time and they all agree that Lee la Thai is the real deal. Great food, great prices. I also know the city Health and food inspector, and he has said they have the cleanest kitchen in town. Good thing to know. I reccomend this place to anyone that craves Thai cuisine in Fargo.
This is a great Thai restaurant that I make a point to visit almost every time I am through town. Food is always fresh and staff is always pleasant (although sometimes a bit slow). I would rate this an 8 out of 10.
Here’s my Go-To Curry fix.. I love curry. Absolutely love the stuff. Could eat it every day, really. And this is where I get my curry fix. Red, Green, or Yellow curry, it doesn’t matter. Get one and you won’t be disappointed. The portions are well-sized, leaving me perfectly full at the end of the meal, and the prices are on-par with service, selection, and atmosphere. The meat/vegetable ratio has been decreased to be more historically accurate than it used to be, and works well for a well-balanced meal. Very spicy (both flavorful and heat-wise), LeeLa Thai is one of the few places I can get my heat fix without specifically requesting it to be extra-hot.Bonus: Try the Spaghetti Kee-Mow, as it provides an excellent flavor assortment. I’d prefer it was done with Pad, as the Spaghetti is always a little over-cooked for this pasta-snob, but my less-caring friends all say it’s amazing.Give it a try, and you won’t be disappointed!
Yum…more often than not.. The food here can be hit or miss, but mostly I walk away satisfied. I really enjoy their lunch specials though. You can’t really beat the price. The service is always exceptional and I can’t remember ever sitting impatiently at one of their tables. I
